Pegasus
Models have been creating classic model aircraft since 1982, the
Company was founded by Chris Gannon in Whitstable, Kent, England.
Initially manufacturing only 1/72nd. scale kits, the range was
expanded in 1989 to include the Blue Max range; specialising in
1/48th. scale high quality WW1 models. This was followed in 2000
by the Silver Cloud range, this was started to encompass all other
specialist types not already covered by the two existing ranges.
In 1994 research was under way for a highly accurate range of
hand printed specialist decal sheets; starting with the highly
acclaimed 'Lozenge' sheets. Currently these sheets have expanded
to include National Markings sheets, 'wood' effect, and 'Lozenge'
decals in 1/48th. scale. Pegasus & Blue Max kits are produced
from highly specialised limited run injection moulded tools. They
are manufactured from virgin grade High Impact Polystyrene, and
also contain precision made Pewter Castings for the smaller parts,
along with a National Markings decal sheet. Only 1,500 kits are
made from the Limited run tools, and it is our on going policy
to manufacture the more esoteric aircraft subjects overlooked
by the mass-market producers. This web site is a small thank you to
all our many customers and friends the world over. Please enjoy
its contents; after all, without people like yourself there would
be no point in our existence - we really do appreciate
your continued support.
